At Westlake Software, Inc., I have designed various graphics, including banner and award designs, enhancing user engagement in a wheel-spin trivia game.
During my collaboration with Westlake Software, Inc., I had the privilege of contributing various graphic designs beyond the creation of the icon pack. One of the standout projects involved designing heading graphics for a captivating wheel-spin trivia game developed for app users to enjoy during their downtime at work, as per Westlake Software’s client’s request. The trivia game encompassed categories related to Microsoft Surface, Windows, Xbox, Office 365, and an enticing double bonus round. Each heading graphic was meticulously crafted with a keen eye on capturing the distinct aesthetics associated with each product, ensuring a seamless alignment with the overarching theme of the game.
In addition to the heading graphics, I was also tasked with designing three distinct award graphics, representing bronze, silver, and gold awards, which would serve as the triumphant finale of the trivia game. These graphics were thoughtfully crafted to convey a sense of achievement while maintaining visual harmony with the game’s overall design. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to contribute a captivating light-effect background, which was skillfully constructed using CorelDraw and Corel PhotoPaint to create an engaging ambiance for the game’s interface.
Working closely with Westlake Software’s talented team, I gained invaluable insights into the intricate realms of graphic and UI design. This collaborative experience not only allowed me to contribute creatively to the project but also provided a rich learning environment where I could understand how these meticulously crafted images seamlessly integrated into the user interface. It was a fulfilling journey that deepened my design knowledge and affirmed the significance of cohesive visual elements in enhancing user engagement and enjoyment.
